Reporting to: Business Development Manager – Indonesia who is based in Singapore

Roles and Responsibilities:
Will be a key member of ITW Welding Singapore to bring end market focused strategic approach to market expansion in Indonesia

Driving in-depth end market research through on-going involvement and interaction at the customer level

Use this “outside-in" perspective to assist Business Development Manager to develop specific market penetration strategies with compelling differentiated value proposition to the market

Specific Activities:
Carrying out “voice of customer" research work to understand customers’ need.

Demonstrating process / product features and benefits, and offer solutions to customers.

Managing welding process conversion implementation matters.

Maintaining relationship with key existing customers and develop business relationship with prospective end-users.

Developing/ implementing comprehensive actions plans to aggressively grow business within existing and / or prospective customers.

Making economic justification, presentation on total cost, and productivity improvement at mid to senior management level

Job Requirements

Candidate must have at least Bachelor’s Degree in Welding or Metallurgy discipline

Good understanding of major welding processes and their applications: FCAW, SAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW

Proven value added sales track record in selling welding products, welding equipment and in particular welding filler metals in Indonesia

Good understanding and 5-7 years experience in welding market, in Indonesia

Comprehensive understanding of Power Plant construction and Heavy Equipment fabrication and their activities in Indonesia is desired.

Person with high integrity, trustworthy and respect

Must be a team player with positive attitude

Strong competitive drive, need to win and skill at negotiation

Excellent presentation and analytical skills

Excellent communication skills, in oral and written English and Bahasa Indonesia

Willing to travel – 60%
